This Privacy Policy describes how Lingua Law LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when providing document delivery and process serving services within the State of Washington.


  1. INFORMATION COLLECTION

We collect information necessary to execute legal assignments and comply with the Revised Code of Washington (RCW):

Client Data: Name, firm name, email address, billing information, and contact details provided during registration or order submission.

Subject Data (Recipient): Addresses, dates of birth, physical descriptions, vehicle information, and other data contained within the legal documents provided for service.

Execution Metadata: GPS coordinates of service attempts, photographs of real property, DashCam footage, and audio recordings of interactions during service attempts.


  1. USE OF INFORMATION

Your information is used strictly for the following purposes:

  • Service Provision: Executing service attempts, verifying addresses, and identifying individuals.

  • Evidence Preparation: Generating Affidavits of Service and detailed proofs of service for court filing.

  • Safety & Security: Assessing risks to field personnel and documenting threats or aggressive behavior encountered during service.

  • Communication: Sending electronic notifications regarding order status and successful delivery.


  1. DATA DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES

We do not sell your data to third parties for marketing purposes. Disclosure is limited to:

  • Public Records: Once an Affidavit of Service is filed with the court, the information contained therein becomes a matter of public record.

  • Subcontractors: Information is shared with authorized independent process servers for the direct execution of the order.

  • Law Enforcement: In the event of an assault or threat against our staff, subject data and evidence (video/audio) will be provided to police for investigation.

  • Postal Services: Sharing addresses for the delivery of original documents via USPS or commercial couriers.


  1. PAYMENT PROCESSING

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). Lingua Law LLC does not store your full credit card or bank account information on our servers. All payment data is handled according to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).


  1. DATA SECURITY AND RETENTION

Security: We employ industry-standard security measures, including SSL encryption.

Retention: Records of services rendered, GPS logs, and photographic evidence are retained for a minimum of three (3) years for audit and legal verification purposes.

Disposal: Upon expiration of the retention period, data may be anonymized or permanently deleted.


  1. DISCLAIMERS

Transmission Risks: The Client acknowledges that data transmission over the internet is not 100% secure and assumes all risks when uploading sensitive documents.

Technical Failures: We are not responsible for communication errors caused by Client-side spam filters or network interruptions.


  1. AMENDMENTS

We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
